is what the lady at the front desk of the Admissions Office just said to me when I called to politely inform them that the banners plastered all over that say, ”Please enjoy are [sic] beautiful campus” wouldn’t particularly make the prospective class of 2013 want to come here.  It is Achievement Weekend here, and I’m sure the  high school seniors and their parents  milling around are already  having second thoughts. I’m debating whether I should report her asshat-ery to her supervisor…

This wasn’t grammar policing, it was demonstrating concern about the image your school is projecting to prospective students.  I would definitely go over her head as something as seemingly trivial (to some people) as this can have negative effects on visiting high school seniors and may taint their perception of your school.
